helps to reduce stress level and tension in the physical body and helps in attaining a perfect equilibrium and
harmony.

4. Asanas are capable of bringing about the stability of body and mind.
5. Pranayama develops awareness of one’s breathing followed by willful regulation of respiration – vital basis of one’s life, helps in controlled & monitored inhalation & exhalation.
GUIDELINES
1. Be a Regular Yoga – Persistent and regular practice is very essential for good results.
2. Dress Comfortably – Wear comfortable clothing for easy movement of body for yoga class, avoid wearing belts or excessive jewelry as it could get in the way of your yoga practice
3. Stay Light – It is advised to practice on an empty stomach or at least 2-3 hours after your last meal.
4. Do it on your own Mat
5. Yogic practice should be performed in a calm, clean & quiet atmosphere with a relaxed body and mind.
6. Yoga should not be performed in a state of exhaustion, illness, in a hurry / in acute stress conditions.
7. Yogic practice should be performed slowly in a relaxed manner with awareness of body and breath.
8. Breathing should be always through nostrils unless instructed otherwise.
9. Do not hold the body tightly or jerk the body at any point.
10. Do not hold breath unless it is specially mentioned.
11. Perform practices according to your own capacity.
12. Yoga starts and ends with a Prayer as it creates a conducive environment.
