Sri Jagadguru Renukacharya College of Science, Arts and Commerce is managed by Sri Jagadguru Renukacharya Education Society, registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960.  The College was established as an Intermediate college in the year 1945 and started offering undergraduate programs in 1957. PG programs were added in the year 2012.

The aim of the College is to impart value-based education in the field of Science, Arts and  Commerce and It is a private aided college affiliated to Bengaluru City University(BCU). It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B). The college is accredited with ‘B’ grade (CGPA 2.85) by NAAC in the third cycle.

Programs offered:   The College offers Under Graduate programmes (B. Sc., BA., B. Com., BBA and BCA), Post Graduate programme (M. Com). The College offers courses partly under grant-in-aid and partly under self-finance categories.

College timings: 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. from Monday to Saturday

Holidays: The College remains closed on Sundays and all the public holidays as declared by the Government /Management.

The college is affiliated to Bengaluru City University (BCU).The College has a Governing Body as per the requirements of BCU.  The College functions in accordance with the rules and regulations, orders and instructions issued by the Directorate of Collegiate Education (DCE) Government of Karnataka, BCU and the Management of SJRC, as amended from time to time. Its finances are audited by the (DCE) as well as the Accountant General (Audit) Karnataka and statutory auditors appointed by the Management of SJRC. The College is compliant with all the regulations and requirements of BCU, UGC and other bodies concerned.
