Students participate in academic activities and co-curricular activities simultaneously. So that all round development of students is accomplished. They become independent and self- reliant.

The staff regularly attend various courses offered by the academic bodies, so that students can be given an update view of the subject. Apart from regular test and examination, the department takes the analysis of the performance of the students and discussed with the students and suggestions are given for improvement.

Activities: 

The Department of Economics organizes seminars, special lectures and Students’ Seminars for the overall development of its students. Visit to Field trips are a regular feature of the department.

The Department is maintaining a library with both  Kannada and English books.
