Sanskrit is one of the second optional languages for all the degree students for first four semesters. Separate textbooks are prescribed for Science, Arts and Commerce courses.
Department of Sanskrit has organized Samskruta Sambhashana Shibira in association with Samskruta Bharati, Girinagar, Bengaluru.
Consistently the department is giving 100 percent result.
